Conference - The Impact of Trans Ideology on Minors

For decades, the rare young people who experienced gender dysphoria were supported with appropriate psychotherapy. Most came to terms with their bodies as they matured.

In recent years, some health professionals, influenced or pressured by activists, have been prescribing irreversible hormonal treatments and surgeries to these young people.
The constant media attention and the contamination by social media has led to an explosion of requests for gender reassignment for children and young adults. This scientifically unproven management of gender dysphoria has been prescribed more and more and at increasingly younger ages to anyone who asks for them, regardless of whether they are minors or have other mental health problems.

This film reveals the reality of gender reassignment treatments and their devastating impact on health. It shows in no uncertain terms why the trans-identification of minors must be ended urgently.

Sophie Robert is the film director and producer of the three-part documentary “TRANSGENDERISM”. In this series, she explores all facets of gender issues. She bases her work on evidence-based research, shows the brutal reality and highlights the social and societal consequences.

Isomer is a Belgian association that advocates for evidence-based medical treatments to meet the therapeutic needs of patients suffering from gender dysphoria. It questions certain medical responses, known as trans-affirmative, provided to these patients. It defends a respectful approach to individuals who state they suffer from gender dysphoria and, consequently, questions the social trend defining gender identity as a characteristic completely distinct from biological sex.

Cry for Recognition is a support group for parents of a child with gender dysphoria. As we are a Belgian parent group, we opted for an English name. The name Cry for Recognition refers to a fundamental desire, the desire to be recognised. We believe that this lack forms the basis of the irrational desire to be someone else. Healing can only be achieved by learning to accept yourself, in regaining self-confidence in your dignity.
